Our wedding stationery & favours

Our cruise wedding stationery designed by us both, taking inspiration from the art deco travel posters of the 1930s and the modern design of our ship Ventura.

The wedding favours included handbag mirrors for the ladies and bottle opener keyrings for the men presented in organza bags, as well as matching desktop calendars.

Our wedding

Just a quick update about our wedding.

We married onboard P&O's mv Ventura on 22nd September 2009.The ceremony was conducted by Captain K. Dowds.

We had 36 guests with us and enjoyed a fabulous day! I can recommend this type of wedding wholeheartedly - we were so well looked after and everything went smoothly.

The food, drinks and photography were excellent. We all enjoyed a great week's cruising too, a really special time for all of us.

If anyone out there would like more info on this kind of wedding, feel free to get in touch, I'd be glad to give more details.

It's been a while...

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, but this July/Aug have been mad months.
With only 6 weeks to my own wedding and lots and lots of customers' weddings happening as well, I have been stretched out with work!!
I had my own hen night last weekend which was fantastic! The stag night is in 2 weeks time...

Wedding Fair - Diplomat Hotel, Llanelli 28th June

Tying bows can be tricky!

For those of you with ribbon style invitations, perhaps big satin bows to tie (pictured) - you'll know how tricky it can be to get those bows looking perfect (and straight!).

At Sarah Louise Designs, we offer to print the names inside the invitations so the bows get tied up by us and all you have to do is send them... But for those of you who would like to hand write your guests' names and tie up the closure ribbons yourselves, here's a step-by-step photographic guide to help you...
